Welcome to Grade R at Lil Angels Daycare and Aftercare, located in Table View, Cape Town. Our Grade R program is the final stepping stone before primary school, offering a supportive environment where children aged 5 to 6 years can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Grade R Class consists of 20 children, led by one experienced teacher and one dedicated helper. Our highly qualified educators create a nurturing, structured environment that balances both learning and play. The curriculum focuses on building essential skills in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking, ensuring that your child is ready for the challenges of Grade 1. • Experienced Teachers: Our teacher and helper work closely with each child to ensure they receive individualized attention, helping them build confidence and a solid academic foundation as they prepare for primary school.
• Balanced Learning: In the Green Class, we emphasize a balanced approach to learning, incorporating both structured lessons in math, reading, and problem-solving, and creative, hands-on activities that promote social, emotional, and physical development.
• Progress Reports: At the end of each term, parents receive detailed progress reports that highlight their child’s growth and areas for further development. This keeps parents informed and helps us tailor our teaching approach to meet each child’s needs.
• We have a dedicated WhatsApp group for each class, where parents receive regular updates, notifications, and images of their child’s day. This platform also allows for direct communication with teachers, ensuring seamless interaction and keeping you connected to your child’s progress.
